Each drum I create is crafted according to ancestral knowledge passed down within my family of Innu drummers.

In my culture, only those who have received this spiritual calling can make them. I respectfully continue this tradition, crafting each piece entirely by hand, here in Quebec.

This dyed drum is made of deer hide from Quebec and mounted on a natural wood frame harvested from Nitassinan.

The tint, applied by hand, is inspired by the colours of the territory — the red earth, the moss of the forests and the changing light of the north.

The sound it produces is deep, resonant, and fills the space with a soothing and enveloping vibration.

Each drum is unique. Natural variations in skin, color, and wood make it a living work of art.

I harmonize them to accompany songs, ceremonies or meditation, so that they become spiritual allies and witnesses of an ancient link between humans and nature.
