The Spirit of the Object
Inspired by ancestral First Nations traditions, this 8-inch dreamcatcher evokes the call of silence, that inner space where calm naturally settles. Its large diameter highlights the meticulous weaving and creates a strong, grounded presence, ideal for transforming a bedroom or relaxation space into a place of rejuvenation. By choosing this piece by artisan Dave Verreault-Thisselmagan, you bring a profound symbolic dimension to your environment, while honoring the continuity of Indigenous craftsmanship that draws its strength from the tranquility of the land.

The balance between the raw material and the fineness of the braiding, evidence of a respectful rhythm of creation.
My signature as an artist – my creative process
Each dreamcatcher I create is handcrafted using a demanding artistic process, rooted in tradition yet open to contemporary aesthetics. It's my signature. It's what makes my pieces recognizable and consistent.
I select 100% genuine moose leather for its suppleness, durability, and the connection it represents with the animal. The design is intentionally minimalist to highlight the material, its balance, and its form.
The center is meticulously handwoven with natural thread. I incorporate semi-precious stones chosen for their presence and symbolism.
The feathers used are 100% natural: rooster, pheasant, partridge, bustard, goose, or other species depending on the artist's inspiration. Each feather is carefully selected to preserve the visual harmony of the artwork.
The design research is done in collaboration with Vicky, bringing a contemporary touch and a creative dialogue that enriches each piece.
Each dreamcatcher is guided by the inspiration of the moment. None are reproduced exactly. Each piece carries its own presence and its own symbolism.
Each dreamcatcher is a unique handcrafted piece.
