The spirit of the sensor

Tranquil Presence is a 6-inch boreal dreamcatcher, designed for those seeking a balance between simplicity and visual presence. Larger than the smaller version, it maintains a clean and natural approach, allowing the material to speak for itself without being cluttered.

Each element is carefully chosen for its perfect balance: the natural hoop, the understated fibers, the select feather, and the discreet stones come together in a harmonious composition. This sensory device is designed as a calming object, intended to complement spaces for rest, reflection, or transition.

My signature as an artist – my creative process

Each dreamcatcher I create is handcrafted using a demanding artistic process, rooted in tradition yet open to contemporary aesthetics. It's my signature. It's what makes my pieces recognizable and consistent.

I select 100% genuine moose leather for its suppleness, durability, and the connection it represents with the animal. The design is intentionally minimalist to highlight the material, its balance, and its form.

The center is meticulously handwoven with natural thread. I incorporate semi-precious stones chosen for their presence and symbolism.

The feathers used are 100% natural: rooster, pheasant, partridge, bustard, goose, or other species depending on the artist's inspiration. Each feather is carefully selected to preserve the visual harmony of the artwork.

The design research is done in collaboration with Vicky, bringing a contemporary touch and a creative dialogue that enriches each piece.

Each dreamcatcher is guided by the inspiration of the moment. None are reproduced exactly. Each piece carries its own presence and its own symbolism.

Materials and manufacturing

The materials used are hand-picked by Dave and Vicky on their land in Lac-Saint-Jean, in a respectful and mindful approach to natural cycles. The sensor is then slowly shaped by hand, allowing for organic forms and the imprint of the hand.

No two pieces are identical. Each sensor bears the natural variations of the material and the weave.
